This card is also for this week's Splitcoaststampers Featured Stamper challenge.
Congratulations to this week's Featured Stamper, Maura (onecraftystamper).
I chose this project as my inspiration:
I focused on Maura's:
-3 'flowers' with 'leaves'
-colours
-layout
I changed:
-tag to card
-sentiment to die cut letters
I used my 'dry brush' technique to create a green panel and a pink one. Then I trimmed the green one and splattered black ink onto part of it, and cut the solid leaves from Flower Bursts from the other part.
I cut solid flowers from the pink panel, and then I die cut the outline flowers and leaves from black cardstock.
The letters are the solid portions (they have outlines, too!) from the new Haley Outlines Alphabet set.
Such fun colors! I LOVE that font and flowers!
ReplyDeleteLove your pretty colors on this awesome Flower Bursts card! Great alpha dies too!
ReplyDeleteStunning card!! That black outline pops right out- really wonderful.
ReplyDeleteLovely card. The flowers are so striking done in black. The green panel is the perfect backdrop for the flowers.
ReplyDeleteWOW I love how you colored the background of the flowers, and the GREEN! these are so pretty, I can't get over it.
ReplyDeleteWhat a gorgeous card Ardyth - loving the colours you have used! So vibrant
