Easy Copic Backgrounds (Essentials by Ellen October Release)


The new Essentials by Ellen release is now live! And we're having a blog hop to celebrate - all the details are below.

I had some fun making easy striped and plaid backgrounds for my cards with my Copic markers. Here's a video with some tips and tricks and a good look at all the new goodies!

  9. I'm always drawn to the "mondo" flower designs! So much fun to color with a never ending variety of mediums - and I always feel like an artist! Gotta love stamps that do that! LOL

  20. Thanks for showing how you made your background plaids! Love those tips and how different looks you can achieve. I'm drawn to the neutrals lately I don't know why. Those sayings are probably my favorite as they can be used so much with different cards.

  29. I really like how you put a circle of 'amazing(s)' around the leaf because the leaf cycle is pretty 'amazing' and goes around and around every year!
    The mondo leaf looks spectacular in these colors!

  44. I always enjoy watching your videos & learning something from them. The plaid backgrounds you made so quickly look super behind each one of your cards. Love the way you incorporated the same colours on the image you were focusing on the front. I've got my eye on the Voices in My Head, the Landscapes dies & the Lil' Squatch stamp set.
