Spotlight Stamping (Ellen Hutson/Power Poppy Blog Hop)

Today some of the Ellen Hutson Design Ambassadors are hopping with Power Poppy Designers, to show of the newest release that is available now! (Hop details are below)

I did some spot light stamping, and started by stamping the Big Sexy Blooms stamp with pale gray ink on white card stock.

Then I inked the lower left area with black ink and stamped another piece of card stock before colouring in the daisy with Copic markers.

I used a circle die to cut out the daisy, and then used larger circle dies to create frames, which I also coloured with Copic markers.

I stamped a sentiment from Strong & Beautiful and coloured in the outline letters so that they would be more visible on the stamped background.

And I finished with some Pretty Pink Posh jewels that matched the colours I chose for the double-frame.

Here's a video:

  42. I've always wanted to try this technique but until recently didn't have a stamp that would work well. I recently picked up an Impression Obsession Cover a Card background that would work wonderfully with this. I only have 1 PowerPoppy stamp set thus far (Glistening Paperwhites) and I'll have to see if I make a background with the images if that would work. I'd love to use your card for inspiration on their new challenge :-)
