Good morning! It's Day 3 of the blog hops to celebrate the new Wild and Wonderful release from Catherine Pooler Designs! I'm not on the blog hop today, but I have included the list below so you can comment for a chance to win.
Today's cards both feature the Kaleidescope background - it is so versatile. It can be subtle or it can take the main stage!
For my first card I stamped it with Midnight ink. I used a solid flower stamp from Focus on the Good to create a rainbow and then cut a circle out. I stamped the sentiment directly on the card base and coloured it in with matching Copic Markers.
Stamps: Kaleidescope Background
Ink: Midnight, Party Dress, Rockin Red, Tutti Frutti, Orange Twist, Limoncello, Lime Green, Grass Skirt, All That Jazz, Fiesta Blue, Something Borrowed, Grape Crush
Paper: White, Midnight
For the second card, I used the Kaleidescope as more of a subtle background, with tone-on-tone stamping. For the focal panel, I repeated one stamp from A Note of Thanks, using Black Jack on the sentiment and the 4 Carnivale colours (Limoncello, Be Mine, Grape Crush and All that Jazz) for the little flourishes. My MISTI came in handy to make sure the spacing was just right.
Stamps: Kaleidescope Background, A Note of Thanks
Inks: Black Jack, Limoncello, Be Mine, Grape Crush, All that Jazz
Paper: White, Mirrors
