I'm so excited to have been asked to be part of the Essentials by Ellen November release! The release went live last week, and today is the second celebratory Blog Hop! I am the final blog on today's hop but I have posted the list of today's hoppers below.
I was asked to highlight the Totally Random Sayings set. This set is full of fun sentiments in a hand-lettered font, plus some small typed add-ons.
Pretty much every occasion is covered, so I made a set of cards with bright layered colours to show off a few of the sentiments and how they work with their little sidekicks!
My big graphic background 'flowers' were made using one of the stamps from the Abstract Paint Strokes set and some bright ink colours from Altenew. A MISTI is a must to ensure good coverage on large solid stamps like this and also to get perfect positioning. I've used this simple positioning technique before - as long as your panel is square, it's a great way to ensure that everything is stamped evenly around the centre.
