We're now into the second half of the
Festive Friday Trigger challenge - Snow! Don't forget to link up before the deadline on Wednesday!
And, it also qualifies for this week's
CASology Cue Card - Neon - you have until Sunday to play along with us on that one!
This card was simple to make - I used a Papertrey Ink die to cut a window into my white panel. I layered it on a Smoky Shadow mat and embossed my Stampin' Up sentiment in silver. I made the snowflakes using an old Fiskars border punch. I wanted them to be small so that I could use a lot of them. The neon cardstock came from Michael's - I love how it pops against the grey!
Wow! Neon snow, who would have thought it would be so pretty. Very lovely.
ReplyDeleteAwesome idea!! Love this!! You are so creative, Ardyth!

ReplyDeleteLoving that you posted this midweek inspiration to CASology!!
ReplyDeleteI thought of this when I saw DT after your name....Though this may be funny,(it is meant to be complimentary)
I am thinking that you are to the CAS card crafting scene, like the famous people that can go by one name and you know who they are! Like Cher, Bono, Madonna!
There are a zillion Kimberly's, I have only heard of one Ardyth!! LOL
Have a wonderful Friday and weekend Ardyth!

ReplyDeleteAs creative as ever, Ardyth ... neon snow ... love how the flakes are inside and outside the panel ... so swirley! Anita :)
ReplyDeleteNeon snow - how creative! Great idea to peek the wee flakes out from behind the panel! Hmmmm....at the rate our planet is going, neon snowflakes might soon be the norm!
ReplyDeleteThis rocks! The window reminds me of a thermometer which is perfect! Love the neon snowflakes (how much more fun would that be in real life!) and the glittered edges. :)
ReplyDeleteAwesome alternative to a traditional Christmas card!!! Love the long window to view the neon flakes :0)

ReplyDeleteNeon snow is just fabulous. What a great idea. Of course, I'd take any sort of snow, seeing as how we never get any and my girls are dying to see some for real.
