CFC66 - Splish Splash
A while ago, I went through all my stamps and sold a whole big bunch of them at garage sale that our local stamping store hosts twice a year. Before I took everything in, my daughter went through the boxes and 'rescued' a 'few'. In her part of the craft room, I found a whole set of High Hopes sea creatures that I thought were long gone, including this little oyster. (glad they're not!).
I coloured him simply with copics, trying to achieve that iridescence of 'mother of pearl' on the inside of the shell. I made up the sentiment using part of a Papertrey valentine and Lawn Fawn's Harold's Alpha. Finally, I added a half-pearl.
This card is for this week's CASual Friday challenge - to use something you would find in or at the ocean.
