i {heart} papers GD Post 4 - Cutting Edge 7/FMS149

Here's a fun multi-challenge card using products from i {heart} papers. I used the inspiration from the latest Cutting Edge card by Jackie Rockwell and the sketch from Freshly Made Sketches.

I love pink orange and yellow together - the ultimate summer colour combination, if you ask me!

Here's what I used:
Paper Smooches Gently Seasoned stamp set (dots)
Paper Smooches thanks die
Hero Arts Unicorn White ink
Lawn Fawn circle dies
Ultra Smooth Premium White Cardstock
Dimensional Dots

Merry Christmas

For this week's Freshly Made Sketch. I had to laugh when I saw the blog - under the title, it asks "Will you be the Queen of Clean". Let me tell you, my cards are the only area where it's even a possibility! lol!

Also for this week's Casual Friday challenge to use acetate or vellum.

I seem to be focused on Christmas lately. I wanted the strip down the side to be one word and the "sentiment" element to be another, so I guess now that I think about it, it could have been Happy on the strip and Birthday on the bottom, or Thank on the strip and You on the bottom. Actually, the possibilities now appear to be endless, but it didn't occur to me at that point, so Merry Christmas it is!

The snowflake is an old Cuttlebug die cut from vellum, edged in Stardust Stickles. Christmas is a masked part of a big DeNami stamp and the Merry is unknown. Raspberry Ripple and Gumball green ink.

Welcome Baby!

I've made some minor changes to the look of the blog - the colour scheme,  the size of the area that I can type in - this will allow me to have bigger photos - yay! And I've increased the font slightly, to make it easy to read. I've also put the "follow" gadget at the top - easy for readers to find and to remind me how many of you there are (I so appreciate all of you for following me!!)

Today is another day to combine two challenges:

Freshly Made Sketch 33:

And the Play Date Cafe Colour Challenge: (I used Going Gray, Pretty in Pink and Soft Sky)

I used Waltzingmouse background and baby stamps and added some stars and stickles for good measure!

PS - this is my last 'Going Gray' cardbase - discontinued Stampin' Up! colour - sniff, sniff! Looking for a good light grey - any suggestions?
