5 fun ways to use solid stamps

Today I thought I would go back to basic stamping and show some different ways to use solid stamps in cardmaking.

I have a video showing a number of techniques, ranging from basic to more advanced - I hope you enjoy it!

  2. These are ALL great cards, Ardyth! Thank you for the video! I love the card you created with the flower and leaves first stamped in gray and then colored. The shadows really add a lot to the dimensional look, too.

I have done the technique you've used on the hearts in the past and also another version of that technique which I don't remember the name. It's where you take a solid image, ink it up then take a design stamp (uninked) and twist it once or twice or more (depending on the size) onto the solid inked up image to create a new design and then stamp it. I had used a very old wood mounted heart and design for this technique a looong time ago! I had written the directions on a sample I kept saying that I had used a small celtic design that I twisted many times on a large solid inked heart. It is a pretty cool look.
