This card is also for this week's Splitcoaststampers Featured Stamper challenge.

Congratulations to this week's Featured Stamper, Maura (onecraftystamper).

I chose this project as my inspiration:

I focused on Maura's:
-3 'flowers' with 'leaves'

I changed:
-tag to card
-sentiment to die cut letters

I used my 'dry brush' technique to create a green panel and a pink one. Then I trimmed the green one and splattered black ink onto part of it, and cut the solid leaves from Flower Bursts from the other part.

I cut solid flowers from the pink panel, and then I die cut the outline flowers and leaves from black cardstock.

The letters are the solid portions (they have outlines, too!) from the new Haley Outlines Alphabet set.

  1. Such fun colors! I LOVE that font and flowers!

  2. Love your pretty colors on this awesome Flower Bursts card! Great alpha dies too!

  3. Stunning card!! That black outline pops right out- really wonderful.

  4. Lovely card. The flowers are so striking done in black. The green panel is the perfect backdrop for the flowers.

  5. WOW I love how you colored the background of the flowers, and the GREEN! these are so pretty, I can't get over it.

  6. What a gorgeous card Ardyth - loving the colours you have used! So vibrant

  7. Cute flowers and fun colors.
My fave is the swan tunnel card base.

  8. What wonderful colors you achieved with the dry brush technique. Such a wonderful compliment to the flower burst blossoms.

  9. Cute card!! Love the design.
