EBE September Release Blog Hop - Oak Leaf Thanks


The Essentials by Ellen September release is live and we're having a Blog Hop to celebrate (details below!).

I made a couple of same-but-different  cards using the new Mondo Oak Leaf set.

  26. I love the big Oak leaves. Just think of the possibilites! You stamp parts of it on the sides and leave a space in the middle for a sentiment. Or do as you did and add some gorgeous colors to it...Love Love Love!

  28. Each card is wonderful. I love the fall colors which are nice to see while I am setting here and it is 100 outside. Makes me feel cooler. My favorite is the first card. The colors are perfect.

  40. Beautiful cards, your painting is gorgeous! Love the card with the blue in the background it pops and the leaves take on a softer hue than the card without the background painted. Love Autumn and the beautiful colors on the trees.

  67. I think the card would have been fabulous just after you gold embossed, but watching all that beautiful masking and blending, I prefer that one!! Great tips too!

  68. I really like this oak leaf combination that you have created. And they are the best kind of leaves, the kind you can scoop up and not have to rake them and dispose of! The blue background is so pretty and I like how it really makes the cool oak leaves POP off the background! Looking forward to your video! Cheers!
