Tips for Simple No-Line Colouring (Ellen Hutson Christmas in July Blog Hop)


Happy Christmas in July! Today some of the Ellen Hutson Design Ambassadors are hopping to celebrate and maybe even get an early start on our holiday crafting! (Details below).

I used the Mondo Holly set, some grey ink and some red copics to do some very simple no-line colouring to give my monochromatic card a festive pop!

      I haven't tried no line coloring yet, so thanks for the tip about coloring on the lines. The pop of red really makes the card.

      love your card but it really stinks you lost your stamp in the machine but it happens to all of us....I have never tried masking....thanks for sharing

      Ardyth, I so enjoyed your video. I've not tried no line colouring yet, but you've made me think I should give it a go. I really like the look of this Mondo Holly stamp set & you've created a wonderful card with it. The pop of red with the grey is great! This blog hop by Ellen Hutson has inspired me to start making some Christmas cards early.

      Ardyth I absolutely love your card! At first glance I thought the holly berries were Nuvo Drops, so your no line colouring is amazing. I found your tips and advice on the colouring very informative and I am off to give this a try. I could see myself mass producing this card for Christmas this year.

      Oh my goodness those berries really jump off the card. I actually thought that they were covered in something like glossy accents as they looked so dimensional. Your colouring of them is phenomenal! Hoping your day is fantastic. Cheers Donna :)
