FS603 - Cuddle Party

Congratulations to this week's Splitcoaststampers' Featured Stamper, Mandy Stacey. I chose this card as my inspiration:

I focused on Mandy's:
-leafy heart (look close! lol!)
-two animals

I changed:
-colours
-'scene'

I created a watercolour background by smooshing Catherine Pooler inks onto some acetate and then spritzing and rubbing it onto watercolour cardstock. I stamped some water plants for some tone-on-tone details and then stamped the heart and embossed it with Totally Teal embossing powder, which was a little more tone-on-tone than I had intended!

I used some new colours of Catherine Pooler inks to watercolour the otters, then popped them up over the sentiment strip.
