Muse 182 - Happy Birthday to You, Superstar

I had so much fun making this card for this week's Muse challenge! Anita gave us a really fun inspiration with balloons:

I was inspired by Anita's:
-colours (including the variation in each colour)
-birthday theme
-balloon elements
-use of die cuts

I used:
-MFT Happy Birthday to You die
-MFT Birthday Wishes and Balloons
-MFT Balloon Stax
-MFT Pierced Square die
-Distress inks
-Elizabeth Crafts Mylar paper

I'm also linking up to MFT's Superstar contest.

  4. GORGEOUS colors! Beautiful shading! Awesome sparkle! Love how you colored only parts of the letters. Is the balloon cut from shimmer/shiny paper?

  5. Fantastical birthday card, Miss Ardyth! That mylar paper is 1000% perfect for your sweet balloon card. The ombre and sparkly sentiment really trips my trigger, I have to say. LOVE this card, and I'm certain that you're already a Superstar in my book!! But MFT should make it official! Have a great weekend. Bev

  13. My jaw just dropped when I first saw this over on Instagram! What a stunner and a fabulous take on my card. I love how you deconstruct the elements and produce an awesome creation every time and always so very you. The ombre blending looks so beautiful and I love that pop of gloss from the balloon. I've been trying to get my hands on those word dies but they are sold out over here! Pah xx
