When I saw the gorgeous inspiration for this week's
Inspired by All the Little Things, I just fell in love.
This painting is gorgeous! Love the bold colours and brush strokes! I decided to get messy to try to create the vibrant saturated colours and smooshed 3 different panels of colour using distress inks - one in blues, one in yellow/orange/reds and one in brown/reds. I did each one several times to create unique variations in shades, and also to ensure the colours were very bold. Of course I needed some white! lol!

ReplyDeleteWOW! You 'more than nailed' the inspiration photo with this stunning creation! The colors are gorgeous, the texture divine! Love how the 'hello' creates a distinct division between the top & bottom of your design.
ReplyDeleteEven with all the bold colors, this still has a very satisfying CAS look. Crisp edges, simple images, and a white sentiment are perfect here. Amazing take on the inspiration photo. This is just wonderful, dear friend. Love it. Bev
