This is my card for the current MFT Wednesday Sketch Challenge.
I don't often use animal or people images, but lately I've purchased a few because they're just so darn cute! The Happy Pandas set was one of them, along with the matching dies. I figured an MFT challenge was the perfect place to put them to work, but I also find this sketch a little busy. The result is a card that I like, but doesn't quite feel like me. But pushing ourselves to try new things is how we grow, right? And man, these guys really are cute!
I also used the Celebrate Big set - I feel like the big sentiment works well with the mostly black and white colour scheme.
Love this Ardyth! Isn't that set so cute, I haven't played with mine yet. Inspired by you!
ReplyDeleteI so get what you're saying about trying new things :)
ReplyDeleteI DO love this card too!
oh and one more thing... I still get *you* in this card!
ReplyDeleteAdorable! I agree that it's hard to resist all the cute animal and people images that are on the market at the moment.
ReplyDeleteThis is really cute without being cutsey (is that a word???)To me the pandas just highlight the sentiment! X
ReplyDeleteThese pandas are really CUTE!
ReplyDeleteSo fun! Your solid black stamping makes this card fabulous, and makes me want to hug those cuties! :)
ReplyDeleteOh my goodness Ardyth!! This is SO darn cute!!
ReplyDeleteThey sure are cute! And I do see "you" in these sweet little pandas. Still a CAS style, and with the little fellas being mostly white, they retain more of that CAS look. I think you've nailed the sketch. Very, very cute little critters. Great and fun card! Bev
ReplyDeleteSuper CUTE!!
ReplyDeleteThese little guys are adorable Ardyth! I love your take on the sketch and think this card turned out perfect. No not you, but still you in a way. lol It is simply adorable! Hugs, Brenda
ReplyDeleteI love this fun card - the blue balloon is the perfect finishing touch.
ReplyDeleteThey are so cute!! And a busy card, bur still not to and so funny! Have a colourfull week!
ReplyDeleteAdorable!
ReplyDeleteYour card is adorable! Thanks fir sharing!
ReplyDeleteI really like what you have created here! Personally, I think that limiting the colors to a nice simple B & W with a splash of green maintains a nice, clean look!
ReplyDeleteThese wee critters really are cute!
Yep, these panda's are so sweet, Ardyth ... a touch of them (being adorable!) and a touch of you (black and white with the pops of colour ... and that big sentiment!) makes for clean, crisp and definitely cute! Fun! Bisous, Anita :)
ReplyDeleteThis is so cute. Love the way you used those adorable pandas.
ReplyDeleteThis is really cute, and to me, it still looks like you--just a little different, but mostly you. You did a great job of simplifying a busy sketch and still making a card that has your signature personality.
ReplyDeleteThis is adorable! And I can see your style all over it!
ReplyDeleteOhhh... I am loving this Ardyth. I have this set too. 😜 been trying to think of a creative way to use it. I love the big sentiment.
ReplyDeleteBrilliant use of the sketch, Ardyth! Congrats on your win!
ReplyDeleteOh my word... This is just too cute & fun!
