AAACards39 - Happy Birthday!
Happy Victoria Day! Here in Canada, we celebrate Queen Victoria's birthday every May - it's the unofficial start of summer and we've been having fabulous weather, sunny and warm! Perfect for bbq's, long walks and fireworks!
I'm sharing a card I made for AAACards 39th challenge, to celebrate their first birthday!
I pulled out one of my recent purchases, MFT's The Whole Herd to create this. I used the matching dies so that I could fit everyone including the hen and her chick onto the card!
I used a red panel to get a barn-y feeling, with all the critters peeking out through the door. They're so cute! I coloured them with Copics.
Thanks to Kimberly for reminding me to link up to Retrosketches as well.

ReplyDeleteWhat a super cute birthday card, Ardy, made all the more festive by that bright red! Enjoy your Victoria Day holiday! Hugs, Darnell
ReplyDeleteHappy Victoria Day Ardyth!! Your card is darling!! I love the barn yard critters and how you colored them. We usually have steers in our barnyard, but haven't had any for the past couple of years due to hubby's illness, I can tell you I sure miss having steers. They are so cute, but I don't get to attached because one will end up in my freezer! Hugs, Brenda
ReplyDeleteThis is so cute and clever Ardyth! Love the Cdn flag inspired layout and you have the whole gang cheering!
