Two 'matching' cards today, for our 'matching' twin nephews, Luke and Oliver. I admit that I was running late to make these, so I went back through my old cards to see what I could CASE quickly. I came across my card for Tracey from last year here:
Kate also made 'same but different' cards for the boys (her cousins) - go check them out here!
CASing yourself is a great way to find inspiration quickly. And it's always fun to look back at previous work and take the opportunity to see how you would do it differently this time!
LOVE these. YOU are awesome at inking!!!!!
ReplyDeleteSo cool!
ReplyDeleteLove these Ardyth, perfect designs for twins... similar but individual and VERY attractive!
ReplyDeleteChrissie
I had a crafty weekend and did exactly that - cased myself to finish up my Christmas cards. Love the gorgeous inking for the twins cards.
ReplyDeleteThank you, Ardyth, for inspiration! I'll case it with a reference to you, if you don't mind. I have to make a male card, I came up with element and technique, but couldn't imagine the composition. Now will try to do something alike :)
ReplyDeleteI love this! I must admit, I know when the birthdays are coming but am horrible at waiting until the last minute to make them - this is a great quick card - stunning in its simplicity and personalization.
ReplyDeleteAmazing colors, so perfectly CAS! Love!
ReplyDeleteAwesome inking, Ardyth! Love these!
ReplyDeleteSo awesome -- your sponging is just amazing! It is blended so good -- I'm still trying to achieve that smooth look
ReplyDeleteOh Ardyth, these two cards are awesome! I love that they are the same but different. Fun and fresh colors, perfect for twins!! Hugs, Brenda
ReplyDeleteThese are so bright and bold and happy! I love the design!
ReplyDeleteLove these, Ardyth! I used the last of my masculine birthday cards this weekend and will be CASEing this design to replenish the stack :)
ReplyDeleteJust brilliant, although I thought the twins are male and female...I guess I am just stuck in that red/blue color scheme for girls and boys...
ReplyDeleteFabulous sponging, Ardyth! The number 8 really pops against the bold colour on each card.
ReplyDeleteSuper awesome cards!!!
ReplyDeleteWOW - no doubt about who the best inker in the whole wide world is!!! "Fun, quick & easy" to recreate (only in my dreams!) with stunning results!
ReplyDeleteThese are fantastic. Perfect for a couple of 8 year old boys.
ReplyDeleteSuper striking, fun and funky! Xx
ReplyDeleteWhat a fabulous pair of cards...I love your shading and those big number 8's, just so fun.
ReplyDeleteSuch stunning sponged panels, Ardyth ... completely gorgeous ... LOVE them! Anita :)
