Thanks for the support!

A friend asked me to make 25 cards for her mom who has just finished her treatment for breast cancer. She wants to thank all the people who have helped her out in various ways over the past months.

My friend told me that her mom is glitzy and glamorous and wanted a 'boob' card. So, I ordered this stamp set and die set from Simon Says stamp - I think they're perfect and so does she!

On another note, I'm heading to Richmond, Virginia for the first time on Friday night to visit my sister (the horse vet). Do any of you know of any stamping/crafting stores within about an hour of Richmond? Any advice would be appreciated!

  5. Fantastic card idea, Ardyth. I giggled as soon as I saw this card, because I was imagining how the people here in India would react if they received a card like this for it is bold and candid :)

  11. I love this card Ardyth! I'm glad your friend's mother is doing well and hopefully in full remission. It's a hard battle and a long one. Cancer is not fun and the journey, well the journey is a long one, but do rewarding when you can kick cancer in the butt! So this is the perfect card for thank yous! Hugs, Brenda
