Muse 69 - Thanks!
A graphic thank you card for this week's Muse challenge, where Cornelia is our guest Muse!
I focused on Cornelia's colour scheme, scripty font and the dots, but went cleaner. I cut the Paper Smooches thanks twice - once in white and once in black. I coloured the white one with copics and glued it onto my panel. I then glued the black one over top, just slightly to the right so that the colours underneath would show. A few enamel dots for texture and shine and done!
There's still some time to play along with us in this challenge - the deadline is Monday at 8 am EDT. At that point, you can vote for your favourite 3 (even if you didn't link up a card) before Tuesday at 8 am. On Tuesday at noon, the top 6 will be posted. I hope to see you there!
What a great take on Cornelia's card, Ardyth ... love those vibrant colours peeking out behind the bold black! Anita :)
ReplyDeleteOoh, I love your take on Cornelia's card! Really clever idea to cut the word twice and colour the bottom one with Copics! Brilliant! xx
ReplyDeleteLove the offset die. I just got some new word dies...thinking I need to case this :)
ReplyDeleteSince you always case the current Muse card I was wondering what you would do with mine, but I never ever imagined this - simply stunning!!!!
ReplyDeleteHappy belated birthday, Ardyth! Unfortunately I was swamped with work and did not manage to make you a card :(
So sorry. I hope your birthday was fabulous!
Very clever take on Cornelia's card!

Wow! A true Ardyth masterpiece! Came by to wish you all the best (albeit a bit late) on your birthday and for your next trip around the sun. May it be a great one!

ReplyDeleteI love your crisp, clean take on Cornelia's card, Ardyth! Very clever way to line up the color combo behind the black alphas, and the enamel dots are a fabulous touch!

Just done my voting - to be honest I was a bit gutted I couldn't vote for this card! :)
ReplyDeleteLOVE the offset colors and REALLY LOVE the perfectly placed enamel dots!
