Another take on AAA Card's Game 3 - where this card by Linda Beeson is our inspiration:
and also for this week's CAS(E) This Sketch challenge:
This colour scheme is one of my favourites - it's warm and fun and very vibrant. I used re inkers and a water brush to put drops onto a piece of acetate. I then spritzed the acetate with water and laid it on my watercolour paper panel. I finished the card with a MFT die and one black enamel dot.
Cool watercolor technique. I like the bright colors with the bold black die cut sentiment.
ReplyDeleteYou did it Ardyth... you took the "plunge"... water on your card, and you did a fabulous job! The bold black just look awesome on the splashes of color.
ReplyDeleteThanks for playing at AAA cards!
Your cards are always wonderful.. :)
ReplyDeleteI'm in love with how you interpreted the sketch. And your go to color combo is fabulous.
ReplyDeleteFun colours and a great way to use the sketch!

ReplyDeleteCool blend of 2 challenges! Isn't it so fun to mix them! Our designer must have had a big smile when she saw it. Your watercoloring technique is lovely, thank you so much for sharing and playing our AAA Card CAS Challenge! Cheers, Victoria Lavender

ReplyDeleteLove how you cas-ified the AAA inspiration! Love those splats and splots too!
ReplyDeleteOooh, this is neat. I have to try that technique, if I can do it without reinkers.
ReplyDeleteMy goodness this is vibrant and clean, Ardyth! Thanks again for playing at AAA Cards!
ReplyDeleteArdyth those colors are awesome. Who won't want this as a birthday card. Watercolor is my favorite too! I have to try this. Great job.
