ATCAS 39 - Pinterest-Inspired Texture

I was lucky enough to have some time to play in my craft room over the last couple of days and turned to my Pinterest boards for inspiration.

The first one came from this photo:

#packaging

I used a Michael's stamp, Papertrey star die and a Cuttlebug embossing folder to create the texture. I'll link this up to this week's Addicted to CAS Texture Challenge.

The second one is inspired by a dress that Hilary Swank wore at Cannes:

Love that pop of pink! I decided to inlay the original Clearly Besotted die cut (ie I didn't take it out at all!) in the Hibiscus Burst panel - it's subtle but still evident.

  16. Hahaha, I love how you were honest about the inlay, Ardy! The very first card I made that was "inlay" was way before it became a thing and it was totally because it was stuck and I liked how it looked that way so I just left it!

You've made two rocking cards from your Pinterest inspiration! You actually use Pinterest to make things way more than anyone else I know and that's inspiring!

Thank you for playing in the texture challenge at ATCAS!! Hugs, Darnell
