Valentine's Day Inspiration Blog Hop

Welcome to the Valentine’s Day Blog Hop brought to you by the Inspiration Crew. We're a group of crafty blog friends making projects we like, using products we like.  Some of us are also offering prizes!!

I couldn't choose just one project to share, so you're getting 3! The first one uses a 'faux-enamel' technique that my friend Jennifer Wills used here. I die cut the nesting Cuttlebug hearts in black and and again in white. On the white middle heart, I sponged various distress inks and then covered it in Crystal Effects. I laid the 'enamel' heart back into the black die cuts. The sentiment is from Simon Says Stamp. I love the shine of the rainbow and am also linking up to this week's Less Is More Rainbow challenge.

For my next card, I embossed this Paper Smooches sentiment in clear on a white panel. I then cut masks for it and sponged above and below the lines in Festive Berries and Picked Raspberry distressed inks. Simple, but pretty!

Finally a valentine for a techie. This Technique Tuesday sentiment came with a bunch of light bulb and lamp stamps, but this unknown 'on' icon works too! I stamped it in Turquoise and added Stickles so that it would glow, just like the computer!

Be sure to check out all the blogs for tons of crafty Valentine’s Day inspiration.

  17. All three of these cards are just fabulous. I thought that you had used patterned papers for the first two (crazy me, do you even own patterned papers???) and was surprised and impressed to read it was all done through (the magic of) ink.

  31. Ardyth, I loved the Faux Enamel technique you used on one of the cards in this post. However, when I clicked the link for the technique on Jennifer Wills' blog, I couldn't find it. May I ask you to post the exact link to it?
