Holiday Inspirations Group - Halloween Day 6

This is my second post today. For my Festive Friday post, please scroll down.

Day 6 - This sweet image is an old one from Elzybells (sadly, no longer with us), with a Michael's sentiment and spiderweb.

I don't know about you, but I think that Halloween is definitely for the kids. I just love seeing the little ones carefully climbing up my front steps, waiting with bags and eyes wide open for a treat, but still not sure if they'll get a trick instead. I clearly remember the first year that Struan really could understand what we were doing when we went door to door for candy; the funny part was the next night, when he couldn't understand why we couldn't do it again!

Here are photos of my favourite two little ones, from Halloweens past:

As always, there's lots more to see:

  1. Ardyth, I adore this card...my favorite so far!!!! I also love seeing the pics of your kids through the years...I have a picture on Halloween from every year since we had kids and I plan to scrapbook them. I love seeing them through the years! I know Halloween is for the kids, but I honestly like it more now that I am a parent...I get so excited about decorating and telling spooky stories...I guess I'm a big kid at heart!

I'm loving all your Halloween cards, by the way!

  2. Just adorable! These little cuties look ready for some serious candy too. Great coloring, btw! I'll be coming back to this often to look at your techniques. Halloween is mostly for kids...except...when I was younger, we surgical nurses and techs would dress up, and trick-or-treat for drinks and food at our favorite surgeons houses! Now that was fun! Great pix of your kiddies too; tfs! Bev

  7. This IS Halloween I love these kids and their cute costumes and all the bright colors you used. My DH and I set up chairs in our driveway and put on all types of glow lights glasses, earrings, bracelets, etc. which the kids get a kick out of. We pass out candy and a glow light item if they ask for one. TFS

And how sweet are the pictures of the kidlets? Where do those years go? One day we have to hold their hands as they climb up the stairs...next thing you know, they have to hold our hand as we climb up the stairs!!!
