CASology 54 - Gold!


This week's CASology Cue Card is Gold!


I was inspired by this photo I found on Pinterest.


Honor
I love the contrast of the every-day brown paper lunch bag and the elegant gold foil.  I also love how the foil is so thin that it seems like it's almost part of the bag itself. I tried to get the same effect by cutting my Memory Box Parker lower case letters out of the scraps around some gold seals (the kind you might use on wedding invitations). It's a little less dimensional than embossing, but still clearly a layer on top of the card.

    Truly brought JOY to my world today! Great idea to use the scrap paper from the seals....which justifies saving every litte piece of paper...for those just in case I need it moments :)

    Wow - CAS perfection! I love the pop that your card provides with just three little letters. Who would have thought that by just adding three little letters to a card would make a huge impact?!
