CASE Study is another challenge I haven't played along with for a long time. But this week's card by the talented Jocelyn Olson is just begging to be cased, don't you think?
So I made two. And now I can't decide which one I like better!
I love both of these, Ardyth, and can't decide between the two. If I really had to, though, I think I would go for the second one. They are both a fab take on the Case Study and you've inspired me to take part in this! x
I will not pick because they are both so fantastic Ardyth! Hope you are enjoying this break in our heat wave! Thank you so much for sharing with us this week at CASE Study with your fabulous cards!
Oh, how to choose! I love the fun, loose sketchy feel of the first card, but being the OCD person I am I also love the solid, uniform feel of the second card. SO...both are awesome in my book!
Two terrific designs based on the inspiration! I like the lines in the circles on the first one, but since I'm partial to dots, I love all of those on the second. :)
Both are way cool. But if you twist my arm and force me, I like the first one just a bit more. I think it's the smaller center circle...Love them, and how you've made them both full of fun and still CAS. Bev
One inspiration photo that evolved into two fantastic cards - similar but so different! It's amazing how changing the stamped image can totally take the card from whimsical to subdued! Love them both - would not be able to choose a favorite!
The bottom one looks more immediately 'you' but I like both!! I played along with this challenge too :)
ReplyDeleteI am going with the first one. I like the sketchy look of this. Love how just the splash of colour makes such an impact

ReplyDeleteAwesome!! :)
ReplyDeleteBOTH are lovely, Ardyth, but I DO like the movement the first one has!
ReplyDeleteThe first one gets my vote!
ReplyDeleteBut love both ;)
Oh gosh Ardyth. I love them both but the touch of texture in the circles on the first gets my vote. Gorgeous.
ReplyDeleteBoth are fab! Think I prefer the increased colour on the first (if I HAD to choose!)
ReplyDeleteI must say I like the first one better since it's so similar to mine. Funny how it worked that way but you know what they say "Great minds . . ." :)
ReplyDeleteRainbow stamping....you know the way to my heart:)
ReplyDeleteLove them both! :)
ReplyDeleteBeautiful :) I think the first one is my favourite, the breaks in the solid colour add a little more interest - stunningly simple :)

ReplyDeleteMy fav is the first one - love the sketchy look and bigger "petals" - but they are both perfect CAS design!
ReplyDeleteBoth are beautiful! But the first one is my favorite. :)
ReplyDeleteBoth are fabulous -- especially with all that beautiful white :)
ReplyDeleteBoth are lovely cards but if I had to pick I would go with the first one. It has more color and I love how the colors overlap adding more interest.
ReplyDeleteBoth wonderful Ardyth CAS designs ... but the first is my favourite
ReplyDeleteTwo terrific designs based on the inspiration! I like the lines in the circles on the first one, but since I'm partial to dots, I love all of those on the second. :)
ReplyDeleteI really like them both but I'm especially diggin' the texture on the petals on the first one.

ReplyDeleteI love them both, but really, really love the first one! You always do rainbows beautifully, Ardyth!
ReplyDeleteThey are both great cards, if I had to choose a fave, it would the second. I like the glitter / stickles placement and having more petals.
ReplyDeleteTwo fabulous takes on the inspiration but the first one speaks to me more. Thanks for joining us at CASE Study this week :)
ReplyDeleteThose are really cute, a great take on the challenge!
ReplyDeleteWonderful CAS cards!!! Love the little colors popping out from the white! :)
