I had some graphic fun with this week's Muse by Laurie Willison:
Have I mentioned how amazing I think Laurie is? I recently trawled through her blog and pinned
I'm still in full thank you mode - over the last couple of weeks, I've made 40 cards for an order from a teacher at school (I'll show you some of my favourites tomorrow). I delivered them yesterday and still have an empty bin!
And I've got a bunch of thank yous to write after my big birthday bash last week! I love it when I can justify spending more time in my craft room, don't you?
I focused on the pretty colours Laurie used. I simplified my shapes and punched up the yellow and orange a bit.
I hope you'll get a chance to play along with us this week! But even if you can't play, you can still vote for your favourite on Saturday, starting at noon EDT.
Thanks to Jenny to reminded me that this week's Addicted to CAS challenge is circles. I'm linking this up there as well.
Another masterpiece in CAS. Just shows age isn't dulling your style... ! Don't forget Addicted to CAS is 'Circle' this week. Jenny

Oh so graphic - fabulous. And I agree on Laurie - she is amazing at design. I'd love to hear how you got your "business" going? Do you change your style for your orders or do the people just love your style (I suspect the latter ;)
ReplyDeleteI love how the thank you is offset...and I'm write there with you on an empty bin. Gave out 60 cards for teacher gifts...officially need to start cranking out cards :)!
ReplyDeleteI just love to see the different ways we all get inspired!
