OLW133 - More Shapes Galore
I love playing around with shapes, so I knew I couldn't play only once with this week's One Layer Wednesday challenge, hosted by Susan. It's called Shapes Galore and you're supposed to use a shape repeatedly on your one layer card.
My shape is the 'o' from Papertrey's Outlines alphabet. I used it to make my line of interlinking 'buttons', coloured it in with copics, and then added The Stamps of Life miniabc2stamp for my sentiment.
This is completely not what I intended to make when I sat down, but my plan didn't work out and this is just way more fun! (and versatile - think of the possibilities!)

it's beautiful card
ReplyDeleteIf an unintended card can be sooooo pretty what will the card made with full intention be :) this simply awesome :)
ReplyDeleteI love ur creations
Brilliant! Love it.
ReplyDelete100% Awesome!
ReplyDeleteWow! This is so fun! I just love the overlapping of the circles!
ReplyDeleteOoh, a touchable treat! The shading and light reflection add such wonderful dimension, Ardyth ... circles, colours, depth ... bliss!
ReplyDeleteI can see the dimension! Wow! Amazing card!
ReplyDeleteFantastic idea! I'm not the greatest at repurposing stamps, so kudos!
ReplyDeleteSo colorful and clever.
ReplyDeleteI had an "inkling" to play along with OLW -pun intended, and this card was the topper that made me do it!
ReplyDeleteShe made me do it!
Wow, love the colouring - the highlighting makes the buttons look glossy!
ReplyDeleteLooks like you added some glossy accents too...that always make thing pop! I think of your two cards, that perhaps this one is my favorite!
ReplyDeleteWhat a fun way to say thanks!
ReplyDeleteLove it!
ReplyDeleteNo wonder Bev calls you the queen of CAS stamping!
ReplyDeleteSuperb job my friend
I am so impressed with how perfectly these "O's" are lined up...Very clever, Ardyth, and very cool!!!
ReplyDeleteJust so cool, those shiny buttons look awesome :0)
ReplyDeleteClever - those O's - and filling them with letters. Rainbow colors are always a hit - Happy Ester to you, Ardyth!
ReplyDeleteI honestly don't think that this card be more perfectly stamped! Love the white highlights on each letter - hand drawn or part of the stamp?
ReplyDeleteGirl, you're amazing!
Well isn't this right up your alley ... a one-layer repeated shape card. LOVE your intersections and their coloring! LOVE that you used the letter O to make them! The glossy accents just make me want to rub your card back and forth : )
ReplyDeletePerfect! Love these bright scallops!
ReplyDeleteSerendipity! I love it when a "failed" planned turns into something better than you had planned.
ReplyDeleteThis rocks and I love the little white highlights you added to the letters.
ReplyDeleteDang, Ardyth, this is BRILLIANT!!!! That coloring is just perfect...with the shading and highlights in each typewriter key...and I love that effect! Must have taken quite a while, and yet it's so clean and simple and fresh and fun! LOVE it!
