For this week's Less is More challenge - One Layer card with the theme of Houses.
This is one of my go-to designs - I've made similar cards for various weddings over the years (although I'm pretty sure I've never made a one-layer version before).
I love this Verses sentiment, and it ties in so nicely with the Stampin' Up Dreams and Dragons castle image.
I wanted the colours to be soft and dreamy, so I stuck to the low numbers in my Copics and applied them sparingly.
Back when we first got married, moving into our new 'castle' certainly seemed like a wonderful part of the fairy tale. Now, I look at it and think "too much to clean! When can we move to a condo?". Ah, reality. It really cracks me up sometimes!

ReplyDeleteLoving the soft colours - gives it such a dreamy look! And I'm like you. I look at all these big, gorgeous houses on HGTV and stuff and all I can think is, "How long would it take to clean all that?"

ReplyDeleteThe soft copic colors are beautiful! I agree that subtle totally works on this wedding card. Anything more would overpower that beautiful sentiment!

...been thinking how easy condo living would be...definitely gaining points in my book, especially if a cook was included!
