Sometimes, when I've finished a card, I don't necessarily feel like I've finished exploring the idea behind the card. Today's cards are do-overs of this card (all inspired by the Cameo-cut card on that post).
First I tried the same colours from this week's Colour Q. I liked the how the roundness of the 'a' in the Papertrey sentiment echoed the rings.
Then I decided to try another colour combination and came up with this, using the same layout:
On another note, thanks to Erin of createrin for nominating MASKerade to be a Liebster blog.
(they've changed the logo since I was last nominated! lol!)

Also, thank you so much for the blog shout-out! To say I am thrilled is an understatement :D
gorgeous cards! And thank you so, so, so much for the award! I just found out today...since I've been behind on reading blogs. thanks so much!
ReplyDeleteHi Ardyth - Thanks SO MUCH for such an honor, I am just thrilled : ) Especially coming from a maker of so many beyond-fantastic cards, that really means a lot to me.
ReplyDeleteAnd speaking of beyond-fantastic, I love how you play around with a concept, and then come up with two similar, yet cool in their own right, cards. The cut out on the second one is brilliant. I never thought of using shapes other than a circle. It's the movers and shakers die right? Good to know, good to know.
another 2 fantastic cards! love the "a"s too, perfect sentiment for that card! thank you for joining us at the colourQ ; )
