I chose this card as my inspiration from the gallery of this week's Splitcoaststampers' Featured Stamper, Amanda!
LIST: Colours (white, ivory), Techniques (die cutting, embossing?) Elements (4 square grid, embossed squares, cross, lots of dimension, white pearl embellishments)
INCLUDE: white, die cutting, lots of dimension
MODIFY: snowflake instead of cross, added die-cut sentiment, crystal embellishments instead of pearls
EXCLUDE: grid, embossing
SPIN: shimmer spray
I love the look of an all-white card, especially one that's filled with dimension and lots of pretty details! I started by cutting the new Crochet Snowflake Layer C die from a white panel, because it has little extra details that cut around the snowflake itself. I laid the snowflake back in, and then stacked up Layer A, B and another Layer C to really give the snowflake lots of dimension. This die set has a lot of really interesting details (I especially love the little stacked up dots along the arms) within the snowflake shape and lots of nooks and crannies perfect for adding some sparkly gems. BONUS: Each one of the layers is a pretty snowflake on its own!
I also cut and stacked up a Paper Rose sentiment and spritzed the whole card with some shimmer spray for a little sparkle.
A really elegant card Ardyth - love the result
