Hello

Congratulations to this week's Featured Stamper, Mary Fran NWC.

I chose this card as my inspiration:

I focused on Mary Fran's:
-colours
-flowers
-heart
-stripes

I changed:
-more white
-die cut setneimtn
-more solid colours

I love these colours together and this was a perfect opportunity to show how Catherine Pooler's inks blend together so beautifully! I started with a panel of white cardstock and blended It's a Boy from the bottom left and Pixie Dust from the top right, blending them together in the centre.

I die cut my Essentials by Ellen Folk Heart die from the centre of the panel so that it would show the transition from the blue to the purple. I popped it up on my 4.25 square card, letting it extend over the top (it will still fit in an A2 envelope!)

Then I cut a bunch of little flowers from Wild Garden - some from white, some from the rest of the blended panel, to scatter over the card (that was the hardest part - 'random' scattering! lol!)

I added a Letterboard Script sentiment and some green jewels from Pretty Pink Posh's Citrus Mix just to the white flowers for a bit of sparkle.

Rather than having my stripes in the background, I put one one each side by trimming my white panel to 4x4.25.
