Black & White Cards

If you are ever looking for a quick and easy card to make, try leaving most of it black and white, with some pops of happy rainbow colour!

To make this card, I stamped the present border stamp from Birthday Borders with black ink and then coloured parts of it with a black Copic marker (you don't have to do this, I just wanted some drama!)

Then figure out a way to add some rainbow colours. For this one, I masked off 1/4 inch strips and blended Catherine Pooler inks in rainbow colours, but putting the red in a different place on each line.

I added a small sentiment from Party Friends and some Sparkling Clear confetti to draw attention to it, since it's so small!

This is another example that is included in my video on the Pretty Pink Posh blog and YouTube channel.

Another border stamp, but this time I stamped it right up next to itself each time, to create a seamless border.

I also stamped it once across a panel of white cardstock with rainbow inks, then cut LOVE from it. I coloured the hearts with copics, and then coloured a few more on the background.

  1. Love this idea - especially with the presents. The contrast between the bold b&W with the rainbow stripes is lovely.
