Ellen Hutson 12 Tags of Christmas Day 9 - Sleigh Ride


It's Day 9 of the Ellen Hutson 12 Tags of Christmas event - this year we are using our favourite Christmas songs as inspiration. Be sure to go to the Ellen Hutson blog for all the details and daily inspiration from the Design Ambassadors!



Today's Christmas song inspiration is Sleigh Ride. This penguin from Arctic Pals doesn't have a sleigh, so he's using his belly to go down the hill!

I used the landscape dies to create a mask for my snow hill - I blended Catherine Pooler inks above the hill for the sky and then I covered the bottom half with Nuvo Glimmer paste in Moonstone for some sparkle! I added some Stickles for the snow spray behind the penguin.

The sentiment is from Mountain Holiday and the banner is from the Parcel Box die set.

    This 🐧 penguin is the sledding bomb! (Reminds me of Chevy Chase in the silly Christmas movie, when he flies down the hill at top speed!) I bet this cute guy is more in control! Love your blended background!
