Faux Enamel Beach Scene (Pretty Pink Posh Blog Hop/GIVEAWAY)

Do you love collecting enamel pins? I created a card with a faux enamel scene using new stamps, dies and stencils from Pretty Pink Posh!

Today is the first day of blog hops to celebrate this new release and I've got the blog hop list and prize details below.

I created my scene by cutting the new Beach Scene die from white cardstock and colouring it with Copic markers before coating it with embossing ink and then embossing it with clear embossing powder. TWELVE times! lol! This gave a thick, glossy, faux-enamel look to my scene. I had a couple of small issues, including warping and cracking, so be sure to watch my video to see how I fixed those!

There are 4 $25 gift certificates up for grabs (two winners each day). Winners will be picked randomly from comments left along the blog hop. Comments must be left by 11:59 PM PST on 6/17/2019. Winners will be announced on the PPP blog.

  1. First let me say I enjoyed reading about your blog name. There is a glue in every family.

Next, I love your card. The surfboards are a staple in the garages where I come from. Great colors and I love the glossyness. Not a word but that's okay.

  35. I will admit, I have not hopped on the pin train (mostly because I'm a cheap chicken and am trying to avoid more categories of products to spend money on). However, I'm a big fan of your "unlimited edition" version. :D I really appreciate the tips that you gave us, since I'm 1000% sure that I will crack mine when I try this. I'm glad there's an easy fix. Thanks for sharing!

  42. Your beach scene card looks great being glossy. I wonder if you had used Ultra Thick Embossing Powder (UTEE), maybe it would have only needed 4-6 layers. You definitely have more patience to do 12 layers.
