Muse 283 - Hello


I had fun with this week's Muse challenge, where Kim gave us this adorable inspiration:


I focused on Kim's:
-pink, grey and white colours
-critters
-white sentiment on grey background with pink frame

I have adored these Pretty Pink Posh hummingbirds ever since they were released, but never quite got around to purchasing them. When I mentioned this to Cat, when she made this card for a previous Muse challenge, she very generously stamped and cut a bunch of them and popped them in the mail to me.

Today was the perfect day to use them (notice how their neck ruffs are scalloped like the cupcake icing!)! I coloured them with Copic markers and then worked on my layout. This Hello shaker die seemed just the thing to mimic Kim's embossed sentiment panel, so I cut it out of white cardstock, coloured the frame with one of the same Copics and then layered some grey cardstock underneath.
