EH Pinsights - Wish


Completely out of my comfort zone here, folks! This card is for the current Ellen Hutson Pin-Sights Challenge:

Pin-Sights Color Trend September

I love the rich colours so I focused on that little mosaic looking piece and tried to recreate it with a snowflake stamp and some watercolours.

I started by stamping and embossing the snowflake in a pattern that would leave me some white space for my sentiment (and my sanity!). I then just put down watercolours, overlapping and blending them.

  2. This is gorgeous, Ardyth! I loved your sneak peek on IG and your reveal is incredible! Beautiful watercoloring and the gold makes everything POP! Love that you added random flecks too - such an organic and structured card (if that makes sense?!). :)

  3. Maybe the loose watercoloring is out of your comfort zone, Ardyth, but creativity surely isn't. I keep saying I don't have enough EE stamps to enter their challenge but I do have that snowflake. I never thought to use it for a background. Thanks for the inspiration.
