Muse215 - Happy Birthday!

This card is for this week's Muse Challenge and was inspired by Tracey's masculine card:

I focused on Tracey's:
-layout (popped up panel with left side exposed)
-colours

My son is turning 18 soon so this seemed like the perfect opportunity to make a card for him. My plan was to use '18' where I have Happy Birthday, but it turns out I don't have the right stamps or dies for that. I did however, have this 'eighteen' that works quite well in place of the stripes on the left.

I used:
-Stampin Up Need for Speed
-Stampin Up Age Awareness
-Stampin Up Milestone Moments

  1. Playing catch up after time away from commenting. My hubby had eye surgery and took some time off.
I took a stroll back through your cards and everything is fantastic...as I knew they would be!! Your CTS card is gorgeous. The flowers are colored to perfection!!

  4. Very cool and perfectly personalized for that upcoming birthday... unless he thinks it means he's getting a car?

  7. Time sure does fly by...18 already? Stunning take on Tracey's card, Ardyth! The masculine images are perfect for his age and I love that you chose the word eighteen in that fabulous font...very clever!

  8. Perfect card for an 18th birthday. I like the stamped "eighteen" along the side better than the stripes on the inspiration card.
