Muse 209 - Happy Mother's Day (with video)


Here's my card for this week's Muse challenge, where Guest Muse Sonja has given us a beautiful inspiration:





I focused on Sonja's:
-hydrangea
-use of Kraft
-colours
-splatters

Instead of colouring the flowers blue with a yellow and orange spotty background, I used the 4 colours of distress ink to smoosh my paper before stamping the image and die-cutting it.

    Really a lovely card, Ardyth. Watched your video, and that's a fun technique, isn't it?! I love the modern look of this hydrangea, and that you've inlaid it into a kraft panel. Such a pretty Mother's Day card. Fabulous!! Hope all is well with you. Bev
