FS517, TO73 - Hello, Sunshine

Happy New Year!

This week's Splitcoaststampers Featured Stamper is Tara (aka tkcspot). I chose this card as my inspiration:

I focused on Tara's:
-use of black and white and one colour
-floral theme
-horizontal black sentiment on the 'one colour'

I changed:
-the 'one' colour from pink to yellow
-more white space
-moved the sentiment to the bottom
-sponged the colour under the sentiment, rather than using coloured cardstock

I used:
-Altenew Hello, Sunshine
-Altenew Bamboo Roses
-Distress Ink, Copic, Stickles

Also linking up to Timeout #73 - With each sunrise we are given a chance for a new beginning.

Great take on Tara's card, my friend. Your flowers are lovely and delicate, and the gradient yellow is very pretty. Perfect warm color as our weather is becoming much more January-like. Just beautiful. Happy New Year!! Bev
