CASology 230, TO74 - Cold
I feel a little strange today. For the first time ever, I am posting to CASology as a player, not a member of the DT! This week's Cue Card is Cold.
And the theme at Time Out Challenges is Winter, so I'll link up there as well.
I used my newest snowflake set and an older sentiment along with some cool MFT ink colours to make a frosty thank you card. To make the card even 'cooler', I re-stamped everything (using my MISTI, of course!) with Versamark and embossed with iridescent embossing powder. Capturing the sparkle was clearly beyond my skills as a photographer! lol!
I used:
-Simon Says Stamp Frozen Fractals
-Mama Elephant Pix's Favorite

Perfect for the challenge Ardyth. What beautiful loopy snowflakes.
ReplyDeleteSo happy we still get to see your cards here. Thanks for joining in this week. Love the balance of your snowflakes.
ReplyDeleteYou've definitely captured the cue word with this 'cool' creation! Love the CAS design! I think I can see a bit of 'frost' on the bottom right hand image! I'm sure the snowflakes look amazing in real life!
ReplyDeleteOoops...forgot to say that you will definitely be missed at Casology!
ReplyDeleteYep, the sparkles are there, and I'll bet this looks great when the sun hits it too. Love these cool colors together. This is beautifully CAS, and I really like this one! Geri's right; you'll be missed at CASology, so I'm glad to see you in the gallery. Very pretty card. Bev
ReplyDeleteStrange, indeed, but GOOD! So happy to see you played along this week, Ardyth! I missed you already! Your sweet snowflake thank you is just so soft and pretty. Love the colors! Thanks for joining us at CASology...so glad you did! ;)
ReplyDeleteI am so pleased you are getting more fun creative time and this is a superb card. I love the changing colours. Do you have a large Misti? Also I really love stamped off the edge images but can't use my mini misiti for this. Fab to see you at Time out
ReplyDeleteSo nice to see you on the other side of things, Ardyth. Your card is beautiful and so inspiring. Thanks so much for playing along at Time Out and CASology, and Happy New Year.
ReplyDeleteYour design and colors are so eye catching. Lovely card!
ReplyDeleteLove that you have the perfect sentiment that matches the line & feel of the snowflakes! So happy you played along with us this week at CASology, Ardyth!
ReplyDeleteAhh, the elusive sparkles. We still get the hint of them, Ardyth, and they add the cold feel to the snowflakes.
ReplyDeleteSo happy to see you over at Time Out! Love your CAS card as always Ardyth!
ReplyDeleteI can just imagine how lovely those snowflakes must be IRL with the sparkle, Ardyth!!!!! I love your 'cool' card!!!!
ReplyDeleteHave a great day!!!
What a wonderful card Ardyth - as I have some iridescent ep that I have used recently, I can appreciate how the card may look IRL.
ReplyDeleteBlessings
Maxine
Really pretty card - those frosty colours perfectly capture the winter feel - and I can imagine how pretty they must be when the light captures the embossed coating! Thanks so much for playing along at Time Out! jill
ReplyDeleteYep! VERY strange indeed! ;) So happy to see you are playing along this week, though! Once again, a beautifully CAS design with your signature touch!
ReplyDeleteThanks for not disappearing and playing along this week! :)
It was so strange when I added my card on the DT blog and there was no Ardyth :,(
ReplyDeleteBut awesome to see you share this beauty in the players gallery!
Thanks for doing so, HUGS
Strange for us too, Ardyth! This is lovely ... delicate, fresh and yes, I see the subtle glimmer that gives such a fabulous frosty look to these gorgeous snowflakes! Delighted to have you playing along with us at Time Out, my friend! Hugs & bisous, Anita :)
