Here's my card for this week's Muse: ChristmasVisions challenge, where Kim Makortoff is our Guest Muse. She gave us this classic, one-layer inspiration:
I focused on Kim's:
-colours
-use of pine, pinecones and berries
-black sentiment
I used:
-Concord & 9th Joy
Love your take on the inspiration! The switch to horizontal on a square is perfect!
ReplyDeleteGorgeous. This one looks like a good one to replicate; the sentiment is beyond awesome (love where you've put peace and love), and the branches, berries, and pinecones really draw the eye in. Is that a smidgen of Stickles I see? Perfect finishing touch. Great card!! Miss you. Bev
ReplyDeleteThis is a fantastic take on the Christmas muse card. These cards have many similarities and look totally different at the same time. Beautiul and festive.
ReplyDeleteWow - the lines on the 'JOY' image are so fine - I was sure you hand wrote it! Love how the spruce sprigs anchor the sentiment!
ReplyDeleteWhat a perfect take on Kim's card! I may be officially too intimidated to even try now. ;)
ReplyDeleteYour design in its simplicity is perfect. So very pretty.
ReplyDeleteA gorgeous card! Love your take on this week's guest! A beautiful Ardyth card!

ReplyDeleteLOVE the way you created the sentiment, Ardyth!!
ReplyDeleteThis is so pretty! I like the wispy pine sprigs and pinecones!!
ReplyDeleteA great CASE and a wonderful card Ardyth
