Today, Muse and CASology are participating in something new! Altenew is hosting the Altenew Ultimate Challenge Blog Hop. It's a blog hop of Challenge blogs and there's lots of great Challenges involved, special deals and prizes, too! Head over to Muse for more information!
This will be my Muse card for this week. Tracey's beautiful inspiration card (look at that masking!):
I was inspired by Tracey's:
-floral theme
-colours
As you can tell, I didn't want to change a thing. I spaced out my flowers a bit more and I used distress inks rather than powders.
I used:
-Altenew Dahlia Blossoms
-Altenew Floral Shadow
I also made a Card for CASology - same set (plus a Magnolias for Her sentiment) and technique - just add white space!:
All gorgeous cards Ardyth! I really love how you achieved such a different look with your Muse card using Distress Ink, it is very lose watercolouring but in a more controlled way and the black frame makes it really pop. Version two is so pretty with all the lovely white space and the tiny frame in the middle and the same with the bold black on your last card. You were on a roll!
ReplyDeleteBeautiful, I love your colours.
ReplyDeleteWhat can I say Ardyth, these cards are just beautiful - love how you've coloured them with such gorgeous colours, wonderful. Robyn

ReplyDeleteWow, Ardyth, such beautiful variations on a theme! Fabulous, all three!
ReplyDeleteThese are beautiful!
ReplyDeleteStunning, Ardyth ... all three ... just gorgeous! Hugs & bisous, Anita :)
ReplyDeleteSuper cards Ardyth, love the one you cropped the flower really close but they all look fab. :)
ReplyDeletePlaying 'comment catch-up'...DH had knee surgery (out of town for a couple of days) so have been a bit busy playing nurse...actually, I should say playing 'waitress, girl servant, etc. ...' He's doing well now and is back to work for a few hours each day.
ReplyDeleteBoth cards are gorgeous, but you likely won't be surprised that I'm drawn to the second card with all the white space! You are nailing this water coloring technique.
Whoops...hit send before I commented on the third card...which is equally as stunning as the first two! Really like how the colors pop against the black!
