MCV58 - Joy
Wow! Another challenging Christmas inspiration at Muse: ChristmasVisions this week. Cornelia has used dramatic colours and techniques to produce this amazing card that left me without a clue as to how to proceed!
I love all of it - the layered stamping, the washed background, the drama of all that black and the merest hint of lavender.
I was inspired by Cornelia's:
-colours (black, white, grey, lavender)
-heavy use of black to add drama
I used:
-Neat & Tangled Falling Flakes
-Concord & 9th Joy die
-Silver Stickles

Ardith, I LOVE your take on the inspiration card. It's so you and absolutely perfect design!
ReplyDeleteBeautiful! I love the color combination!
ReplyDeleteI'd say you nailed this challenge! I would have taken one look at Cornelia's AMAZING card and gave up! Not surprised at all to see the clever idea that you came up with! Such cool non-traditional colors!
ReplyDeleteWhat a cool take on my card - love it!
ReplyDeleteI think Cornelia's card is awesome, but it definitely left me stumped. (My Christmas card hiatus is now officially over.) But wow, did you ever run with the inspiration and make it your own! Love it.
ReplyDeleteGoodness Ardyth - I think your card is an amazing take on the inspiration one!! They are both stunning, and both unique.

Such a gorgeous array of loveliness in all your cards over the past couple of weeks, Ardyth ... the watercoloured ones are especially delicious ... and I love to bits the rainbow amazing birthday! Made a similar (but not as yummy!) card for Geri's birthday in July ... you'll see when I eventually post it!! Bon weekend, mon amie! Hugs & bisous, Anita :)
