This is my card for this week's Muse challenge, where Tracey gave us this adorable inspiration:
And also for Simon's Monday challenge - this time I have Fauna.
I think I may have gone a little off the rails, but I focused on Tracey's
-layout (image over sentiment)
-3 images on a green background (and then I added brown....)
-one food item
-CUTENESS!
I changed the scene from camp to beach (it's Texas-hot here today!) and added a temperature-related sentiment. Notice my guys are starting to get a little pink on their tummies? Don't notice (like I did) that they look a bit like sushi.
Also for Day 10 of #thedailymarker30day colouring challenge (via Instagram). Colouring with my Copics on Neenah again, really liking it.
I used:
-MFT Penguins in Paradise
-MFT Pierced Square die
-Copics
-Fruit Punch (of course!) stickles
Oh my, I think this is the cutest (or should I say coolest) scene and card I've seen in a long time. Makes me wonder why I don't have this stamp set. In fact, I think I only have 1 MFT stamp set even though I go oh and ah when I see some in action.

But that's what cards are supposed to do; evoke an emotional response, and mine's a terribly happy one about this card! Love the little drinky-poo and the beach you've created, too. ReplyDeleteSuch a fun card! I already saw it on Instagram and I can't help laughing every time I see those guys. They totally remind me of the Blues Brothers though they were only two. Maybe they're the Blues Triplets, lol.
