Muse 168 - Happy Birthday

Here is my card for this week's Muse Challenge, where we are lucky to have Leigh Penner as our Guest, with this fun card as inspiration:

Mine has a more feminine feel and different colours, but you'll be surprised by how many elements are taken directly from Leigh's fantastic design!

I focused on Leigh's
-layout
-use of a frame
-'striped' panel on a neutral card
-sentiment made up of a big happy and smaller words
-olive on top

One of the benefits of choosing classic supplies from whichever company makes them, is that they generally play very well together - check out how many companies are represented here:

I used:
-WPlus9 Happy die (stacked 3 times to provide definition against the white frame)
-Essentials by Ellen Totally Awesome
-MFT Birthday Wishes and Balloons (string stamp)
-Avery Elle Balloon die (retired)
-Avery Elle Double Pierced Square dies to create my frame
-unknown patterned paper
-Elizabeth Crafts Mylar Shimmer Sheetz
