MCV45 - Merry
Here's my card for this week's Muse: ChristmasVisions challenge where Cornelia has given us this inspiration:
I focused on Cornelia's
-colour scheme
-snowflake theme
-black script sentiment
-use of vellum
I created a vellum window right through the cardfront - the vellum is sandwiched between the white card base and the kraft panel. I used the sparkly vellum that was included in the May Hero Arts kit (those are the 2 1/2 little greenish dots you can see on the vellum - turns out the sparkles were pretty spread out on the square I cut, but I didn't want to cut into the middle of it! lol). I finished the snowflake with a little Swarovski crystal.
I used:
-Frantic Stamper Snowflake
-Simon Says Stamp sentiment
-MFT Pierced Square die

ReplyDeleteI really like this one Ardyth. It's serene and pretty at the same time. That snowflake with the window of vellum is amazing. And the black sentiment is a perfect design element. It just draws the eye in. Simply lovely. Have a great weekend dear friend. Bev
