This week's Splitcoaststampers' Featured Stamper is Vicki Parson (Basement Stamper). She's got a huge gallery full of fun cards and I chose this one (the one on the left) as my inspiration:
I focused on Vicki's:
-use of the circle backgrounds
-use of white dots on bold sponged colour
-general layout
-use of enamel dots
-kraft cardbase
I changed:
-theme to birthday
-colour scheme
-rectangle of white dots to half-circle
-used the background on the focal panel
-popped up my sentiment
-swapped the sun for a big black dot
I used:
-Papertrey Dot Spot
-Papertrey Keep It Simple Birthday
-Doodlebug Matte Enamel dots
-MFT Pierced Square and Circle dies
-Distress Inks
