FS477 - Thanks

This week's Splitcoaststampers Featured Stamper is Jenn Shurkus. I chose this card as my inspiration:

I focused on Jenn's:
-black outlined diecut roses
-pink and black colour scheme
-theme (thanks)
-black sentiment

I changed:
-added green
-added white
-one less flower
-diecut sentiment

I used:
-Ellen Hutson Bold Blooms
-Hero Arts Thanks

When I finished that card, I made another. This one turned out to be a blend of this week's Muse (stone base) and the Featured Stamper (black base) as well as an experiment in how different backgrounds can make the card look completely different. Which one do you like?

For this one, I used:
-Ellen Hutson Mondo Hydrangea (with one blossom popped up)
-Ellen Hutson Fancy Thanks

  2. Wonderful vibrant cards Ardyth, but my favourite is the one with the softer, stone base.

  4. I like the one with the black circle. Seems to emphasize the flowers more.

  5. Love the pink inside the sentiment on the first card.
As for the second I can't pick a favourite. One minute I think I prefer the soft grey and the next I like the pop of the pink against the black. They're both gorgeous!

  6. Gorgeous cards - crisp, clean and perfect! As for which one I like better....I think the grey one, just brings out the delicate nature of those flowers. The other one is a bit harsh, although it has more of an impact. Happy Easter!

  7. Stunning bold colors on your first card. Like how you added some bits of magenta to the sentiment too.

The two hydrangea cards are so pretty! Love the two little blooms that you added y the sentiment. Fav? Both are great but I like the softness of the white & stone.
