Pinterest-inspired Mother's Day
I know, it's early for Mother's Day, but only here in North America. In Scotland, where my mother-in-law lives, Mother's Day is coming soon (March 15, to be exact!)!
I took my inspiration from this photo on my inspiration board on Pinterest:
I used the little Tulips from Stampin' Up's Painted Petals and a sentiment from Simon Says Stamp. I stamped and sponged a panel before cutting it into 3 and popping it up onto my cardbase.

So beautiful, Ardyth.. I didn't realize your m.i.l. lived in Scotland... have you visited her? I need some travel tips for our trip in July - please?

Oh very pretty Ardyth! I can see why you were inspired from those canvases. You are right on time with Mother's Day. Funny how different parts of the world have different dates for mother's day. Hugs, Brenda
ReplyDeleteLove all the colour in the petite petals with your sponged sky and grass effects and those separate panels! That sentiment seems the perfect proportion and font for these mini panels :)
ReplyDeleteThat is Fantastic! I love how you interpreted the painting. My fave is the blue and green sponging!
ReplyDeleteThis is beautiful Ardyth! You lined the panels up perfectly. I had a mini panic thinking mother's day snuck up on me. ;)
ReplyDeleteI love those separate little canvases, Ardyth. Move them down and the sentiment up and you'd have a card for Happy Little Stampers.
ReplyDeleteWhat a beautiful design! Simple but very effective.
ReplyDeleteBeautiful!
ReplyDeleteGorgeous composition, Ardyth. And the colors pop nicely.
ReplyDeleteThe tulips are divine...but the subtle sponged blue and green is gorgeous!!! Another really cool sentiment too :)
ReplyDeleteGorgeous design Ardyth! I love your CAS cards.
ReplyDeleteWhat springtime splendidness, Ardyth ... gorgeous tulips ... and the soft hints of sky and grass are so pretty! Anita :)
ReplyDeleteWhat a breath of fresh air and flowers, Ardyth! You ROCKED it, Sistah! This is a MUST CASE! TFS!
ReplyDeleteSo pretty Ardith, the spring we desperately need!!
